NOCOLOK Thickener (water soluble) - Markets & Applications

Application NOCOLOK® Thickener can be used in mixture with NOCOLOK® binder, water and NOCOLOK® Flux to improve adhesion of the flux coating. The thickener is added to increase the viscosity of the mixture and prevent premature flux settling. The system can be applied on external and internal surfaces in order to reduce flux fall-off and dust formation on handling of flux coated components. The application of the binder/thickener/water/flux-system shows no negative effects regarding the appearance of the post braze aluminum surfaces, compared to the use of pure NOCOLOK® Flux (especially no discoloration effects). Suitable application methods: spraying, dipping or brushing. Surface temperatures >10°C, with subsequent drying step!
