Storage – Transport
Solkane® 141b must be stored in a cool and well ventilated area; direct exposure of the containers to sunlight must be avoided. Due to the low boiling point of Solkane® 141b, there may be a slight, normal overpressure in the packaging; care must, therefore, be exercised when opening them. For the same reason, Solkane® 141b must be kept in a tightly closed container.
Although Solkane® 141b has a very good thermal and chemical stability, it contains a small amount of a blend of stabilizers to ensure optimum storage.
Solkane® 141b is not subject to any transport regulation. It can be handled without risk with the normal precautions. Solkane® 141b is slightly irritating to the skin, the eyes and the digestive mucous membranes.
Packaging
Solkane® 141b is available in bulk or in 235 kg drums.
