   Air Conditioning and Refrigeration-Refrigerants (Solkane)

Solkane® refrigerants replace the conventionally used chlorofluorocarbons (CFC’s) and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFC’s) and are therefore an environmentally safe alternative. Solkane® refrigerants are applied to commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, household refrigerators, heat pumps, all kinds of unitary and centralised A/C systems as well as transport cooling and mobile air conditioning.

NOCOLOK Binder (water soluble) Component for flux binder mixtures for selective fluxing
NOCOLOK CB Flux During brazing, potassium fluoroaluminates (flux) are generated by the brazing agent in contact with aluminum surfaces. In addition silicon is generated and aluminum/silicon filler metal is formed.

NOCOLOK® Flux Drystatic NOCOLOK® Flux Drystatic is a flux for brazing of aluminium using electrostatic/dry powder application
NOCOLOK® LM Flux NOCOLOK® LM Flux is a flux for brazing aluminium. Particularly suitable for process conditions with a maximum brazing temperature below 595 °C.
NOCOLOK® Sil Flux (coarse grade) Particularly suitable for brazing aluminium without additional filler metal.
NOCOLOK® Sil Flux (extra fine grade) Particularly suitable for brazing aluminium without additional filler metal
NOCOLOK® Sil Flux (fine grade) Particularly suitable for brazing aluminium without additional filler metal.
NOCOLOK® Zn Flux NOCOLOK® Zn Flux: During brazing, potassium fluoroaluminates ( flux ) are generated by the brazing agent in contact with Al / Si filler metal. In addition, zinc is produced and diffuses into the aluminium surface.
Solkane® 123 HCFC Solkane 123 is an interim solution for CFC R11 in centrifugal chillers for temperature ranges from -10°C up to 10°C.
Solkane® 125 HFC Solkane® 125 is a component in alternative refrigerant blends, such as HFC 507 or HFC 404A. Its physical data and vapour pressure is comparable to R502.
Solkane® 134a (R) HFC Solkane 134a has replaced CFC R12 in a wide range of applications, e.g. automotive air conditioning, household refrigeration, transportation cooling and chillers. Solkane® 134a is applied in temperature ranges from -20°C up to 10°C.
Solkane® 143a Solkane® 143a is a component in alternative refrigerant blends. Its physical data and vapour pressure is comparable to R502.
Solkane® 22 HCFC Solkane 22 is applied in air conditioning systems, commercial and industrial refrigeration for temperature ranges from -40°C up to 10°C. In comparison to CFC 12, the ODP of S22 is reduced by 94,5%.
Solkane® 227 pharma and 134a pharma (NEW) Solkane 227 pharma and Solkane 134a pharma, also known as HFA 227, HFC 227 or 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane and HFA 134a, HFC 134a oder 1,1,1,2,-tetrafluoroethane respectively, are used in medical sprays such as:
Solkane® 227 tech. HFC Solkane 227 tech. is used in air conditioning units where elevated ambient temperatures are present. Solkane® 227 has substituted the CFC R114 and R12B1 Typical evaporation temperatures are -10°C to 10°C.
Solkane® 23 HFC Solkane 23 is used in low temperature applications for temperature ranges from -100°C up to -60°C. It substitutes CFC 13.
Solkane® 404A Solkane Refrigerant - Solvay Fluor
Solkane® 407C HFC Solkane 407C replaces R22 in air conditioning systems and water chillers for temperature ranges from -40°C up to 10°C.
Solkane® 410 HFC Solkane 410 is a substitute for R22 and R13B1. It substitutes R22 in small air conditioning and transport refrigeration units as well as R13B1 for low temperature applications in temperature ranges from -70°C up to -40°C.
Solkane® 507 HFC Solkane 507 is a high efficiency low temperature refrigerant for commercial and industrial refrigeration systems with application temperatures of -40°C up to -20°C.
Solkane®124 HCFC Solkane® 124 is an interim solution and can replace CFC114 in high temperature heat pumps. It is an environmental acceptable substitute and is used when the condensing temperature exceeds 80°C.
Solkatherm® SES36 SOLKATHERM® SES36 is an azeotropic mixture of Solkane 365mfc which boils at 36.7°C.
