The refrigerant, Solkane 22 and the fluorinated intermediate, TFA are utilized in the production of fluorinated anaesthetical products. In fact, trifluoroaceteic acid (TFA) is the main ingredient in isoflurane, the most widely used anaesthetic. (Needs more information-current web does not show pharmaceutical application of Solkane 22)  Products Solkane® 22 HCFC Solkane 22 is applied in air conditioning systems, commercial and industrial refrigeration for temperature ranges from -40°C up to 10°C.
