   Glass-Glass surface processing

Ammonium bifluoride can be used for frosting or matting glass surfaces. Trifluoracetic acid and trifluoracetic acid ethyl ester have recently been discovered for their insulating affects when used in glass surface treatment.

 Products

Ammonium hydrogenfluoride Ammonium hydrogenfluoride (NH4HF2) is used for aluminium anodization, metal surface treatment, manufacture of wood preservatives, glass processing, building protection, mineral oil/ natural gas drilling, cleaning of industrial plants, in breweries and in the electronic industry.
Hydrofluoric acid Hydrofluoric acid, techn. (HF) is used for aluminium electrolysis, aluminium anodization, mineral oil/gas drilling, glass processing, metal surface treatment , chemical industry, cleaning of industrial plants, building protection and nuclear technology.
Iodine pentafluoride (IF5 ) Iodine pentafluoride is a colourless liquid with a pungent odour. The highly reactive IF5 (melting point 9.4 °C) is distillable at 100.5 °C without any decomposition. Decomposition commences at temperatures above 400 °C. In contact with water, iodinepentafluoride hydrolyses spontaneously.
Potassium hydrogenfluoride Potassium hydrogenfluoride (KHF2) is used in the chemical industry, manufacture of woodpreservatives glass processing, glass manufacturing, and for the production of soldering agents.
